A reputable company in southwest Nebraska is currently seeking a talented and experienced Grain Superintendent to join our dynamic team. As a Grain Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all operations related to grain handling and storage. Responsibilities :

• Manage day-to-day activities of grain elevators, including the safe and efficient operation of equipment, facilities, and personnel.
• Supervise a team of grain workers, ensuring they adhere to company policies and safety regulations while maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
• Oversee grain storage, loading, and unloading procedures, ensuring accurate grain identification, quality control, and inventory management.
• Coordinate and schedule grain receiving and shipping activities to optimize logistics and meet customer demands.
• Maintain grain quality through regular testing, monitoring moisture levels, and implementing appropriate treatments to prevent spoilage or contamination.
• Collaborate with farm managers and producers to develop grain marketing strategies, including pricing, hedging, and contracting.
• Train and mentor staff on proper grain handling techniques, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of grain inventory, transactions, and regulatory compliance.
• Implement and enforce safety programs and protocols, ensuring a culture of safety and minimizing accidents and injuries.
