As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within the hospital, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and respond to various situations with professionalism and care. This role offers an opportunity to provide exceptional customer service while upholding the values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first in a dynamic and meaningful healthcare location.

Pay Rate : $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTimeSat06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PMSun06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within the healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting emergency response activities as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter security-related incidents and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions and general information while maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal management and local staff to support a secure environment in accordance with client expectations.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Must meet hospital-specific requirements, including being vaccinated as required by the facility.
  • Must be willing and able to work in environments that may include morgue settings within a hospital.
  • Must be able to safely and professionally restrain individuals as required in a hospital environment.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
