Position Type : Full-Time, In-Person

Fletcher Wakefield Design Studio is seeking a highly motivated and personable Studio Assistant to join our dynamic team at our Stamford Design Center. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for someone eager to begin a career in the interior design industry and grow within our firm.

We are looking for an energetic, organized, and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about design and excited to learn the ins and outs of the trade. The ideal candidate is proactive, reliable, and thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to) :

• Placing sample orders with vendors
• Tagging and organizing merchandise
• Managing shipping and receiving
• Maintaining the fabric sample library
• Coordinating vendor appointments
• Assisting design staff with day-to-day tasks
• Greeting and assisting clients in the studio
• Ordering office and studio supplies
• Social Media

Qualifications :

• Strong interest in interior design and home furnishings
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills
• Ability to take initiative and work both independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; familiarity with design software is a plus
• Must be able to lift and move materials as needed
• Must be local and no out of State applicants
