Radiology Technologist Job Details

Location : Asheville, NC 28801 (North Carolina healthcare jobs)

Assignment Type : Travel Radiologic Technologist contract

Duration : 13-week travel assignment

Shift : 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM (12-hour day shifts)

Hours per Week : 36

Weekend Rotation : Yes

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1320 - $1420 per week

Radiologic Technologist Qualifications

Active ARRT (R) certification required

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a hospital setting

Skilled in diagnostic radiology, portable X-ray, and operating room (OR) imaging

Experience with emergency department trauma imaging

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a clinical team

Black scrubs required

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including portable, trauma, and fluoroscopic studies

Operate GE and Shiatzu radiology equipment, C-arms (OEC), and O-arms (Medtronics)

Provide high-quality imaging support to surgical and emergency healthcare teams

Float within the radiology department as needed

Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner Rad Net EMR

Uphold patient safety and deliver quality clinical care
