Job Description : Security Custom Protections Officer Needed at Allegheny General Hospital Full-Time - $20.00 / Hour 3 : 00PM-11 : 00PM / 11 : 00PM-7 : 00AM - 40 Hours Per Week with 2 Consecutive Days Off (Weekends Included In Schedule) Must Possess Two Or More Of The Following : Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) or verified work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field Bachelor's degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies A minimum of 8 or more years of service in any military branch Associate's degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service Important Information Regarding This Position : Frequent Walking / Standing Required (Indoor / Outdoor); Moderate Technological Usage Required Officer may be required to assist nursing staff with patient restraints - proper training provided Officer may be required to escort nursing staff to hospital morgue with deceased patients Multiple Vaccinations are required prior to working on site (Company Paid) including : two-stage Tuberculosis screening, MMR, Varicella, Tetanus screenings (TB testing instructions provided at orientation) No Facial Hair Permitted Due to Client Requirements. Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
• Sound alarms or calls police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons
• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site
