Ability to pass drug screening (federally regulated) and background check. Willingness to be on a rotating on-call schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Contribute to essential fiber network infrastructure. Gain valuable technical skills with ongoing training. Work independently while being part of a supportive team.

Viaero Fiber Networks is seeking Utility Locators to help ensure safe excavation practices by accurately identifying and marking underground fiber lines. This role is vital to protecting our infrastructure, supporting construction projects, and keeping our communities connected.
What You’ll Do :
- Locate and mark underground fiber optic lines using electromagnetic equipment.
- Complete and document all assigned tickets on time, including photos and notes.
- Perform standbys for excavation projects within 4 feet of fiber lines.
- Communicate findings with contractors, property owners, and project managers.
- Maintain accurate electronic records of utility locations.
- Adhere to all safety standards and wear appropriate PPE.
