Responsibilities Work in the Operating Room of a hospital Cases include General, Vascular, extensive Ortho (including joints), Neurosurgery, Urology, Plastics, Bariatrics, Laparoscopic procedures, GYN, ENT, and Robotics Open heart and transplant cases are not performed Ten ORs running daily starting at 7 : 30 am Day shift, Monday through Friday, 5x8 hour shifts (7 : 00 am - 3 : 30 pm) No weekend or on-call requirements EMR : Epic experience required Block scheduling is available Responsible for circulating and scrubbing on a wide range of surgical procedures Modules must be completed during orientation and annually, delivered via Relias / Net Learning portal Orientation is provided and modules average 4-8 hours Only one request for time off (RTO) is allowed Local candidates are accepted at the same bill rate First-time travelers are not accepted for this position Requirements Active MD or compact RN license (pending accepted) Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience required Current ACLS and BLS certifications required Experience with Ortho, Neuro, and Vascular preferred Two professional references required Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-625091.
