Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

  • Sat 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM
  • Sun 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

What You'll Do

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
  • Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a healthcare location
  • Monitor access to the facility, verifying identification and / or credentials of individuals entering the premises
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, visitor logs, and incident reports as required
  • Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, coordinating with Allied Universal management and local authorities as needed
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and / or patients to address inquiries and provide information about the location\'s procedures
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel

  • Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
  • A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
  • Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Background check as required by federal, state, and local laws
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
  • Drug screen as permitted by law
  • Licensing requirements subject to state / local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
  • Valid driver's license required for driving positions only
