Job Description

You will lead a team of Applications Engineers who serve as trusted technical experts and consultants to NI customers and direct their activities to maximize NI and customer success! You will play a key role in training and developing the skills of team members and ensuring good collaboration with other departments within Emerson and with third parties. This is a unique role that requires strong leadership, business, collaboration, and communication skills.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be :

  • Collaborate with Systems R&D to bring new Application Systems and IP to market.
  • Partner with Business Managers to set strategy and allocate Application Engineering resources.
  • Work with Account Managers to advance and win sales opportunities.
  • Assess and prioritize incoming requests for Application Engineering resources, assign tasks and projects to team members.
  • Recruit and foster the development of Application Engineers by identifying training and career development opportunities, setting and monitoring annual goals, and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with Business Managers and AE team to define and deliver sales enablement content.

For This Role, You Will Need

  • STEM-related bachelor's degree
  • 2-3 years of team leadership experience
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all levels of the organization
  • Experience in handling resources, budgets, and schedules
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart

  • B.S. or M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field
  • Knowledge of NI hardware and software products
  • Demonstrated success and experience in project management
  • Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration
