Advantra is partnering with a Series A AI startup to hire a Head of Recruiting to work directly with the CEO and CTO, building and scaling the company's talent acquisition function.
About the role :
You will own full-cycle recruiting across functions, implement analytics to optimize hiring performance, and partner with hiring managers to design effective strategies. You'll shape the team and processes that support rapid company growth.
Responsibilities :
- Own end-to-end recruiting for all functions, from sourcing to offer and onboarding.
- Implement analytics and reporting to track hiring funnel performance and improve efficiency.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand team needs and define role requirements.
- Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to attract top-tier talent.
- Build and maintain candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Manage offer negotiation and candidate experience to ensure a positive hiring process.
- Optimize recruitment processes to reduce time-to-hire and improve quality-of-hire.
- Advise leadership on talent strategy and workforce planning.
- Ensure recruiting efforts support company culture, diversity, and inclusion goals.
Core requirements :
3+ years of experience recruiting in early-stage startups.Proven track record of hiring across multiple functions.Experience building and optimizing hiring processes and metrics.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.Data-driven approach to measuring recruiting performance and impact.Demonstrated ability to attract and engage top-tier candidates.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work closely with senior leadership on talent strategy.Comfortable working on-site in a high-growth startup environment.Nice to have :
Experience recruiting for AI, SaaS, or tech-enabled companies.Experience implementing recruiting technology or ATS systems.Exposure to employer branding and talent marketing.Familiarity with NYC startup talent market.Background in high-growth scaling environments.How to apply :
