Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) will utilize the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to deliver individualized care to residents. You will collaborate with residents, their families, and interdisciplinary colleagues, including providers, to develop and assess care plans. Your role involves overseeing preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment, ensuring effective coordination of care, resident education, and various nursing interventions.

As a potential charge nurse, you may delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel, providing guidance to ensure safe and effective care delivery. You will practice within the scope of nursing standards as defined by the Nurse Practice Act and follow the ethical conduct expectations set by the American Nurses Association.

Qualifications

To qualify, you should be a graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (e.g., CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA) with a bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred. You must hold an unencumbered RN license from the State Board of Nursing for your practice state and maintain department-specific competencies and certifications.
