Pay Rate : $45 - 56 / hour DoE
Job Responsibilities :
- Design and release of coolant hose and / or tube assemblies.
- Design and release of high voltage cable assemblies.
- Work with Thermal system technical specialist to identify system level requirements for coolant hose sizing.
- Select coolant hose and fitting types compatible with end components and system requirements.
- Work with HV systems engineers to select cable size and mating connectors compatible with each of the HV components.
- Working with CAD designers to route coolant line assemblies with proper bend radii appropriate for the manufacturing method / line type and retention methods as required.
- Working with CAD designers to route HV cable assemblies with proper bend radius and retention methods.
- Identify and document assembly process for high voltage cable assemblies and coolant lines.
- Work with 2D detailers to create drawings of cable assemblies and coolant lines
- including appropriate tolerancing.
- Work with suppliers to conduct regularly occurring technical reviews of requirements and designs.
- Obtain preliminary quotes for use in supplier selection and ensure on time delivery plans are in place once final suppliers are determined.
- Provide status updates and formal presentation to customers both written and verbal
- Develop and execute DVP&R.
- Work with CAE team to define and conduct FEA assessments.
