Now Hiring : Diesel Mechanic – Direct Hire

Location : Lancaster, PA

Pay : $25–$30 / hour (Based on Experience) | Full-Time | Direct Hire

Hours : 12pm-8pm, Monday- Friday

Join our client, a family-owned transportation company based in Lancaster County, seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and equipment. Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on tractors, trailers, liftgates, and company vehicles

Perform preventive maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, state inspections)

Use hand and power tools, including air tools and impact guns

Conduct road tests and ensure compliance with DOT regulations

Maintain accurate repair and maintenance documentation

Qualifications

4+ years of experience as a diesel or fleet mechanic

Valid CDL Class A license (required)

Current PA inspection license

Strong mechanical, troubleshooting, and organizational skills

Ability to lift and maneuver heavy items and perform physical labor safely

Basic computer skills
