We have an exciting opportunity for a Software Developer to join the Systems Engineering Simulator Integrated Studies Team with ERC, a teammate company. We are actively searching for qualified candidates for this potential opening; however, we do not have assurance at this time when the position will be finalized and opened. Because we have strong reason to believe the position will be approved soon, we are proceeding with identifying qualified candidates and conducting interviews. The Systems Engineering Simulator Integrated Studies Team Software Developer will :

• Work closely with customer to capture and manage simulation and software requirements.
• Design and develop software.
• Perform integration and testing of software with visuals and human-in-the-loop mock-ups.
• Perform software testing and verification.
• Troubleshoot simulation issues as they arise.
• Develop software documentation.
• Interface with customers for simulation sessions and studies, including setup, simulation execution and follow-up.
• Demonstrate simulations and facilities to SES visitors and customers.
• Perform rapid troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
• Effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
• Successfully operate in a highly dynamic simulations engineering environment with a team of engineers working to rapidly develop spacecraft simulation functionality.
• Strong customer focus, highly effective communication skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic, rapidly changing engineering environment with demanding customers on a compressed schedule.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions Work Environment Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task. Physical Requirements Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of time). Equipment and Machines Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, printer, etc.). Attendance Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.
