About The Position

Job Title : Operating Room Registered Nurse

Profession : Registered Nurse

Shift : 3x12 hours

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum of 2 years in OR, Level 1 trauma experience preferred

License : RN License (New York state only)

Certifications : BLS Certification (American Heart Association only), ACLS (preferred)

Must-Have : Able to scrub and circulate

Description :

The Operating Room cares for a wide variety of patients.

Specialties include orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma.

There are two robotic surgical systems used by multiple services.

The transplant program involves liver, kidney, and heart transplants.

Job duties include providing nursing care during surgical procedures.

Candidates must possess a strong surgical background with experience in specialty cases such as transplants and craniotomies.

A strong orthopedic background is preferred.
