School Operations & LeadershipOversee the preschool facility, staff, and students in the Director's absence.
Support daily supervision of staff, address concerns, and provide performance input to the Director.Assist with staff scheduling, including vacation planning and sick coverage.Contribute to staff recruitment, interviews, hiring, training, evaluation, and professional growth.Regulatory Compliance & StandardsEnsure all personnel records are accurate and meet state standards.
Fulfill and maintain compliance with all licensing requirements set by the State of Virginia, including background checks, training, accreditation, and Primrose standards.Uphold adherence to federal and state laws, OSHA safety guidelines, health district regulations, and the employee handbook.Family Engagement & AdmissionsLead the admissions process : follow up with prospective families, conduct tours, and onboard new families and students.
Build strong parent partnerships through consistent communication, school-wide events, and community engagement.Enhance the school's visibility through social media presence and outreach.Culture & CommunityHelp foster a positive, mission-driven environment that nurtures children, supports families, and inspires staff
Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities and effectively address the day-to-day challenges of a preschool setting.Education & experience requirements :
Minimum of Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Education or related fieldChild Development Associate (CDA) or licensure preferredMinimum of 5+ years of early childhood administration experienceMinimum of 5+ years of classroom teaching experienceAbility to multitask, pivot, and problem-solve with tact and graceDemonstrated professionalism and customer service excellenceAn openness to learning about Artificial Intelligence (AI) and how simple, practical tools can support creativity, efficiency, and engagement in early childhood education.Position details :
Shift Schedule : Flexible, with the ability to rotate between opening and closing shiftsSalary Range : We are offering a total initial compensation package starting at $55,000 and up to $80,000, inclusive of performance-based bonuses.Ready to make a difference?
