A company is looking for a Patient Navigator.
Key Responsibilities
Provide personalized case management for patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers, including benefit investigations and prior authorization support
Educate patients and healthcare providers on access and reimbursement processes, payer policies, and available programs
Build and maintain relationships with patients and stakeholders while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (or higher) required, preferably in healthcare administration or social science
Minimum of two years of experience in healthcare access delivery or management preferred
Five to ten years of experience in insurance reimbursement, patient access, or direct patient care may substitute for a degree
Relevant certifications and five or more years of experience in the field may be considered
Strong understanding of medical terminology, coding systems, and insurance processes
