$1,969 per week

About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Profession : Nursing

Hours per Shift : 12 hours (19 : 00 - 07 : 00)

Experience : Minimum 1 year

License : Valid Nursing License

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

Must-Have :

Experience in critical care settings

Ability to float between various units as required

Strong knowledge of patient care for adult to geriatric populations

Description :

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of one year of nursing experience.

First-time travelers are accepted for this role.

The patient population includes adults and geriatrics.

Floating primarily to ICU units is required, but the candidate may also float to other medical-surgical units, telemetry, and progressive care units within the facility.

The nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1 : 2-3 in ICU, 1 : 4-5 in PCU, and 1 : 5-6 on medical-surgical units.

Experience with Epic charting system is required.

Skills needed include central line management, ventilator management, and care of ventilated patients.

Candidates should be proficient in interpreting dysrhythmias and managing arterial blood gases.

Experience with high-flow nasal cannula and IV insulin protocols is preferred.

Candidates should also demonstrate strong capabilities in infection prevention and performing phlebotomy.

The role requires the ability to work every other weekend, with an expectation of around six weekends over a 13-week assignment.

There are no call requirements for this position.

If any major holidays occur during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work those holidays, with specific requirements based on the number of holidays.

Full compliance with onboarding requirements is necessary in order to start on time.
