Responsibilities Work in a medical imaging radiology department with 2 cath labs and 2 hybrid peripheral / OR rooms Position is focused on Neuro Interventional Radiology as part of the Stroke Team 10-hour day shifts with schedule of 07 : 00-15 : 30 when not on call and 07 : 30-16 : 00 when on call On-call requirement is one week on, two weeks off; weekend and holiday rotation discussed during interview No floating required Unit uses Epic EMR (required), Epic Cupid (preferred), Alaris, and Omnicell Orientation includes 5 days of 8-hour shifts Travelers must live at least 100 miles from the facility Duties include circulating for Neuro IR procedures and supporting the stroke team Team includes Monday through Friday charge nurse support (6 : 00-16 : 30) First-time travelers are welcome Scrubs are procedural and provided Free parking is available Holiday and weekend expectations will be discussed during the interview Permanent staff must wait one year before returning as a traveler Requirements Current ARRT certification required; Vascular Interventional (VI) credential preferred BLS certification required Minimum 1 year of Neuro IR experience is required; IR-only experience will not be considered Experience with sterile / scrub technique, Siemens Neuro IR equipment, and Epic EMR Stroke team experience required ICU experience required License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-621390.
