We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Process Engineer to join our solar manufacturing team. This role involves designing, optimizing and monitoring manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in advancing our solar panel production capabilities, ensuring sustainable and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Process Development and Optimization :
- Develop, implement, and refine manufacturing processes for solar panels and related components
- Analyze workflows and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and waste reduction
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to design and implement new production technologies
2. Quality Assurance :
Establish and maintain quality control standards to ensure products meet specificationsInvestigate process issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actionsDevelop documentation and process protocols to support quality assurance programs3. Equipment and Material management :
Oversee the installation, operations, and maintenance of production equipmentEvaluate and recommend materials to improve product performance and cost effectivenessWork closely with suppliers to ensure material specifications are met4. Data Analysis and Reporting :
Monitor and analyze production metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvementGenerate regular reports detailing process performance, costs and efficiency improvements5. Safety and Compliance :
Ensure manufacturing processes comply with safety regulations and environmental standardsPromote a culture of safety and sustainability within the production environmentExperience :
Bachelors in Engineering or related field (preferred)3-5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in a solar manufacturing environment or related industryKnowledge of photovoltaic (PV) manufacturing processes is a strong advantageTechnical Skills :
Proficiency in process simulation software and tools (e.g. AutoCAD, SolidWorks)Strong understanding of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or process improvement methodologiesHands on experience with equipment calibration and troubleshootingSoft Skills : Excellent problem solving, analytical, and communication abilities
Working Conditions :
Primary based in a manufacturing environment (Onsite)May require standing for extended periods, working with machinery
