Certifications : BLS required
Experience : Minimum 3 years CVOR (Open Heart, CABG, Valve)
Department Info : Suites : 2 CVOR
Average Cases / Day : 1–3 (thoracic, vascular, robotic, ECMO, Impella)
Cross-Training : Must float to general OR or assist on floor if CV volume is low
Schedule :
Primary Shift : Mon–Fri, 0645–1515 (8 hr)
Weeknight Call : 1–2 / week, 1515–0645
Weekend Call : Every 3–4 weeks, Fri 1515–Mon 0645
Holidays : Rotating, must be available
Call Response : 15 min, 8-hr reprieve post-call; sleep room available
Orientation : 3–4 days hospital + EPIC modules, 4–5 days unit orientation, 2 buddy call shifts
Additional Info :
Charge nurse coverage 7a–11p M–F, weekends 7a–7p; manager until 4p M–F
Scrub color / dress code provided
Must live within 50 miles; cannot hold other positions with CommonSpirit facilities
RTO must be submitted upfront (max 7 days / 13-week contract)
