Perform new-patient evaluations / examsDiagnose patients; evaluate physical activity limitationsCreate a plan that sets a goal and completion dateEquip patients with PT intervention techniques / exercises; track progressProvide education to patients on techniques for the continuation of careExamine and evaluate new patientsEstablish a diagnosis of condition or conditions and their impact on activityEstablish a plan goal and time framePrescribe intervention techniques and exercisesMeasure and track intervention effectivenessEducate the patient on continuing careRequired Skills
Accredited PT program graduateUp-to-date state PT licenseAble to create and implement outpatient balance and vestibular rehabilitation-setting treatment plansAbility to work efficiently / effectively in an autonomous environmentMust be passionate about helping patients who have vestibular, balance, neurological, and fall risk issuesGraduation from an accredited PT program and current PT license in GAMust be able to carry out and progress a skilled treatment plan in outpatient balance and vestibular rehabilitation settingMust be self-motivated with a willingness to learnPassion for working with vestibular, balance, neurological, and fall-risk patient populationPrefer at least one year working in outpatient pelvic, neurological or orthopedic center, or previous vestibular rehab experience
