Helicopter Mechanic

Join the U.S. Army as a Helicopter Mechanic and play a critical role in maintaining and ensuring the operational readiness of the Army's fleet of rotary-wing aircraft. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on military helicopters. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic malfunctions. Replace defective parts using hand tools, gauges, and testing equipment. Maintain maintenance logs and document all repair actions in compliance with army regulations. Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with safety protocols. Assist in the setup of forward maintenance locations in field deployments. Train and supervise junior mechanics and support personnel. Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems diagnostics. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and training. Physical fitness and capability to work in challenging environments.
