Journeyman Electrician - Direct Hire

Journeyman Electrician | 1st Shift | $30$40 / hr (Based on Licenses & Experience) Located in Apple Creek, OH

As the Plant Electrician, you'll be the go-to expert for keeping our manufacturing operation powered up and running smoothly. From installs to maintenance to solving complex electrical issuesyou'll ensure our equipment runs safely, reliably, and efficiently across all shifts. If you thrive on troubleshooting, hands-on work, and making a real impact, this role was made for you.

What You'll Do : This is more than just a hands-on electrical role. As the Journeyman Electrician, you'll :

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, controls, and equipment including extruders, winders, and associated machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair motors, drives, PLCs, sensors, relays, and control panels.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and plant electrical projects.
• Ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes and plant safety standards.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
• Document work performed, update electrical drawings, and maintain accurate records.
• Support continuous improvement, energy efficiency, and reliability initiatives.
