Summary
- The Manufacturing Technician will assemble instrument components, sub-components, and electro-mechanical assemblies for world-class chemical analyzers.
- This division serves global markets such as Safety & Security, Environmental, Food Safety, Energy, Mining, Life Science Manufacturing, and Recycling.
- The role directly supports the company's mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer through reliable analytical solutions.
Responsibilities
Assemble and conduct basic functional testing on electrical and mechanical parts and sub-assemblies using work instructions.Actively participate in production cells, supporting inventory and equipment management.Attend daily stand-up meetings to communicate challenges and share ideas.Adhere to regulatory and quality requirements including ESD control, cleanliness, equipment maintenance, calibration, and work instruction compliance.Contribute to or lead improvement initiatives such as Kaizen, 5S, and Practical Process Improvement.Collaborate with coworkers across departments such as engineering and marketing.Perform MRP transactions and maintain accurate records.Maintain a safe and organized workspace following 5S standards.Rework and reassemble units for failure analysis or development purposes; use judgment for complex or non-repetitive tasks.Required Skills
High school diploma or equivalent required.Soldering experience is required.Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting, or a related field.Ability to work independently and in teams; proactive in resolving issues.Strong adherence to SOPs and company policies; integrity-driven behavior.Basic computer proficiency, including data input and simple calculations.Good hand-eye coordination and ability to work under microscopes.Ability to lift up to 25 lbs unaided.Strong attention to detail.Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.Exposure to Lean Manufacturing concepts or process improvement methodologies.TekWissen Group is an equal opportunity employer supporting workforce diversity.
