Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – eligible for Alabama nursing jobs

Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications required

Experience with Cerner EMR preferred

Permanent address must be 50+ miles from facility (travel nurse requirement)

ICU RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit

Monitor, assess, and document patient status and progress using clinical support tools

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans

Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform advanced clinical procedures as needed

Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and best practices in critical care

Deliver compassionate support to patients and their families throughout the care process
