Responsibilities
- Assist in collecting and organizing information required for preparation of documents, training materials, guides, proposals, and reports.
- Provide technical edits to engineering documentation, software documentation, manuals, reports, or other documents or presentations.
- Use strong writing, editing, and communication skills to analyze and present complex information in a clear, readable format.
Security
Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position-appropriate security clearance is required (e.g., Active TS / SCI with agency-appropriate polygraph).
Capabilities
Work with teams to understand scientific and technical information, documentation content, and requirements.Analyze existing and potential content and suggest enhancements to content and its presentation.Develop diagrams, charts, and graphs with minimal guidance to improve user understanding.Standardize content across document and briefing libraries.Develop high-quality documentation that is easy to understand and use, meets applicable standards, and aligns with audience objectives.Revise documents to stay current with project progress.Required Qualifications
TS / SCI with agency-appropriate polygraph.Minimum three years of experience as a Technical Writer.Minimum of a High School Diploma.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; excellent written and verbal communications.Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and excellent writing skills.The Benefits Package
