Base pay range

$81,000.00 / yr - $135,000.00 / yr

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Oil & Gas Paralegal to join our legal team. This exciting role will allow you to utilize your extensive eDiscovery knowledge and skills in a challenging, fast-paced environment. You will be a vital part of our team, working closely with attorneys and other paralegals to provide comprehensive legal support in the oil and gas industry. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on complex legal matters and contribute to our organization\'s success.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting extensive eDiscovery tasks, including data collection, processing, review, and production.
  • Assisting in the preparation and filing of legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence.
  • Conducting legal research and preparing legal memoranda on various oil and gas law topics.
  • Managing and organizing large volumes of complex documents and coordinating document productions.
  • Assisting with the preparation for depositions, hearings, trials, and corporate meetings.
  • Liaising with clients, counsel, and other parties on matters related to oil and gas.
  • Assisting in the management of oil and gas leases, contracts, and agreements.
  • Ensuring compliance with all legal standards and regulations.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Paralegal in the oil and gas industry.
  • Extensive experience with eDiscovery, including the use of eDiscovery software and tools.
  • A Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program or equivalent is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of oil and gas law, including leases, contracts, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent research and report-writing skills.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
