We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Technical Support Specialist to join our team, specializing in the support and servicing of LED signs. This role involves providing prompt and effective assistance to customers via phone, email, and onsite visits. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues, programming and shipping replacement parts, and delivering software training to end users. Additionally, this position contributes to product improvement through R&D collaboration and uses a ticketing system to manage and document all support activities. A strong technical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and a customer-first mindset are essential for success in this role.

Valid driver’s license required.

Required Education and / or Experience

Bachelor’s degree, and

1-3 years of related experience

Work Environment

Position is an indoor warehouse setting with moderate noise levels including voices, office equipment, and foot traffic sounds. Employee may interact with customers, sales representatives, and other internal departments.

Job Summary

Provide product technical support, advice, and assistance to external and internal customers. Understand and analyze customer requirements for product design, modification, or appropriate application. Installation and / or field work required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned :

  • Provide service and support through phone, email, and on-site service.
  • Use a ticketing system to track issues and call backs required.
  • Provide software training to end users.
  • Prepare and ship replacement parts.
  • Use multiple pieces of software for LED sign programming / service
  • Help consult on product modifications.
  • Maintains current knowledge of the company’s products and equipment capabilities.
  • Help with R&D when necessary.
  • Completes assigned departmental projects.
  • Identify and escalate priority issues.
  • Follow up and make scheduled call backs to customers where necessary.
  • Possess knowledge of product and industry standards affecting quality.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
