About the Role :

The Mammography Technician plays a critical role in the early detection and diagnosis of breast diseases by performing high-quality mammographic imaging procedures in an outpatient clinic setting. This position requires precision and attention to detail to ensure accurate imaging results that assist radiologists in making informed clinical decisions. The technician will interact compassionately with patients, providing clear instructions and support to ensure comfort and cooperation during the procedure. They are responsible for maintaining and calibrating mammography equipment to meet safety and quality standards. Minimum Qualifications :

• REQUIRED- Completion of an accredited radiologic technologist program with certification in mammography.
• Current state licensure or certification as required for mammography technicians.
• Knowledge of mammography equipment operation and safety protocols.
• Experience working in an outpatient clinical environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
