Overview

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced HVAC Service Technicians with specialized knowledge of Direct Digital Control Building Automation Systems (DDC BAS) to join our team in a hybrid role in the Greensboro, NC area . This is a first shift opportunity with a pay range of up to $35 / hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope :

Troubleshoot, calibrate, maintain, and repair DDC BAS systems, pneumatic / electropneumatic systems, and HVAC equipment

Perform diagnostics on HVAC components and control systems; recommend and perform repairs

Operate and maintain central HVAC equipment including pumps, chillers (centrifugal, vapor compression), condensers, boilers, and AHUs

Execute preventative maintenance and respond to emergency call-backs and adverse weather situations

Replace and fabricate parts as needed; coordinate tasks with other trades

Install and upgrade heating and air conditioning systems

Maintain and repair related mechanical and electrical components such as :

Electric / pneumatic valves, VAV boxes, motors, sensors, amplifiers, humidistats, thermostats, etc.

Use Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to log work orders and interpret system data

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent

Strong hands-on experience with DDC BAS systems

Knowledge of CMMS software; ability to interpret data from computer displays or communicated issues

Experience with electronic and pneumatic HVAC controls and mechanical systems

Ability to work independently and respond effectively to emergencies / on-call duties

Preferred Qualifications :

Associate degree or technical certification in HVAC, building automation, or related field

6+ years of progressive HVAC experience in industrial / commercial environments

Proficiency in PC operations and automated control systems

Knowledge of power distribution, steam systems, and air compressors
