Key Job Details - Cardiac Telemetry RN Location : Augusta, Georgia 30901 Unit : Cardiac Telemetry 3 (16 beds) Assignment Length : 20 weeks (10 / 13 / 2025 - 03 / 02 / 2026) Shift : 12-hour night shifts (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM), 3 shifts per week Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1660-$1700 Patient Population : Adults and geriatrics Patient Ratio : 1 : 5 Charting System : Epic (required) Scrub Color : Navy Blue Weekend Requirement : 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule Floating : Yes, to other Cardiac Telemetry or related units Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Georgia or Compact Registered Nurse license (required at time of application) Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Cardiac Telemetry, cardiac care, or acute care nursing BLS and ACLS certifications (required) Proficiency with Epic EMR system Clinical experience with post-MI, heart failure, arrhythmias, chest pain, and peripheral vascular disease Ability to interpret telemetry, EKG, and Doppler studies Strong skills in IV therapy, central line and PICC management, wound care, and rapid response Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions accepted); COVID-19 vaccine not required Ability to work required holidays during assignment Excellent communication and teamwork skills Cardiac Telemetry RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a 16-bed Cardiac Telemetry unit Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, manage telemetry equipment, and respond to arrhythmias Administer medications, manage cardiac drips (no titration), and deliver post-cardiac event care Perform patient assessments, document in Epic, and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams Float to other Cardiac Telemetry or related units as needed Participate in rapid response and code situations Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, recovery, and preventive care Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures Apply now to join our healthcare team in Augusta, Georgia and take the next step in your nursing career!
