The Finishing & Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all activities within the Finishing and Warehouse departments, ensuring efficient and timely operations across production output, shipping, inventory control, and material handling. This hands-on leadership role will focus on safety, quality, and operational excellence while developing high-performing teams and improving systems and workflows across both functions.

Responsibilities :
Leadership & Team Development
Lead and manage daily operations in both the Finishing and Warehouse departmentsSupervise, train, and coach a team of associates and supervisors to achieve department goalsConduct performance reviews and provide development opportunities for staffEnsure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirementsOperational Efficiency
Coordinate production finishing and warehouse activities to meet customer delivery requirements and internal schedulesMonitor and drive departmental KPIs for safety, quality, delivery, and costCollaborate with planning, production, and logistics teams to optimize workflow and inventory accuracyDevelop and maintain capacity planning strategies to ensure schedule attainmentProcess Improvement
Identify and implement process improvements across finishing and warehouse operationsChampion Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiativesDrive cost-reduction strategies including freight optimization and waste eliminationSystems & Compliance
Ensure proper use of ERP systems for inventory, shipping, receiving, and production reportingManage payroll / time collection, training documentation, and compliance with audit standards (e.g., ISO, GMA SAFE, HAACP)Oversee shipping documentation including packing slips, BOLs, and inventory transactionsQualifications :
High School Diploma required ; college degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Operations Management preferred5+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, distribution, or fulfillment environmentsStrong background in warehouse operations, finishing processes, and shipping logisticsLean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience strongly preferredProficient with Microsoft Office and ERP / WMS systemsStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsForklift and powered industrial truck certification or willingness to obtainAbility to occasionally lift / move up to 35 lbs and work in a warehouse / production environmentDiversity & Inclusion :
