Utility Substation SME

A company is looking for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) - IEEE Specifications for Utility Substation Equipment.

Key Responsibilities :

Serve as the internal authority on IEEE standards and develop company-specific specifications

Provide expert guidance during the design of substations and review design documents for compliance

Lead troubleshooting efforts for equipment failures and oversee quality assurance on construction projects

Qualifications :

5-7 years of experience in utility substation engineering

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (required); Master's degree (preferred)

Expertise in applying IEEE standards to substation equipment and design

Proficiency with electrical analysis / design tools such as ETAP and ASPEN

Professional Engineering (P.E.) license is highly desirable
