Manpower Group Inc. is hiring : Technical Writer in San Mateo

Our client, a leader in the autonomous mobility industry, is seeking a Technical Writer to join their team. As a Technical Writer, you will be part of the Manufacturing Operations team supporting the Base Operations group. The ideal candidate will have strong written and oral communication skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title : Technical Writer

Location : Foster City, CA (fully onsite)

Pay Range : $55-$60 per hour

What's the Job?

Support new-hire onboarding, employee training, and management of team objectives.

Work cross-functionally with engineering teams across the organization to develop and finalize troubleshooting and diagnostic processes.

Create and manage technical content for various functional areas including diagnostics / troubleshooting, wiring harness information, and software programming.

Ensure the accuracy of technical documentation through a cross-functional review and approval process.

Prioritize the timely release of key deliverables to support company milestones.

What's Needed?

Bachelor's degree with a focus in Technical Writing or Automotive Technology.

6-8 years of experience as an electrical / diagnostic engineer, automotive diagnostic technician, or diagnostic technical writer.

Strong written / oral communication skills and cross-functional teamwork skills.

High attention to detail and safety acumen.

Practical diagnostic tech or field experience, with the ability to comprehend schematics and electrical diagrams.
