The Material Room Team Leader will primarily oversee specific work assignments, schedule team members, and ensure consistency between accounting records and physical inventory. This role demands a keen attention to detail and the ability to verify the execution and confirmation of work based on work orders. The Team Leader will also take on additional responsibilities as directed by the supervisor.

Responsibilities :

• Oversee specific work assignments and effectively schedule team members.
• Ensure there is a consistent match between accounting records and physical inventory.
• Verify the correct execution and confirmation of work according to work orders.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to maintain inventory accuracy and manage discrepancies.
• Ensure team members adhere to company procedures and guidelines.
• Complete other tasks and duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications :

A high school diploma or equivalent. Typically requires 3-5 years of related experience in material handling or inventory management. Candidates with 2 years of experience coupled with specialized training and / or certification may also be considered.

Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and efficiently.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Knowledge of fire safety protocols and guidelines is crucial.
