Your Role : Licensed Group Therapist
Are you passionate about fostering emotional, physical, and mental growth in young individuals? We are seeking a qualified Licensed Group Therapist to lead therapeutic group sessions, provide guidance, and serve as a positive role model. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing group curricula tailored to the needs of youth in our Residential Treatment and Day Reporting programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate therapeutic groups based on individual treatment needs and clinical topics.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of clients during activities.
- Deliver a set number of therapy hours each week.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to implement individualized service plans (ISP) and document any changes.
- Develop and write group curricula, ensuring supervisor approval before sessions.
- Assist in crisis intervention and facilitate problem resolution discussions.
- Provide physical restraints and on-call coverage for Residential Services when necessary.
- Maintain accurate daily / progress notes and weekly summaries for assigned clients.
- Report special incidents to the Clinical Services Program Manager.
- Participate in staffing meetings for youth and family support.
- Contribute to the clinical record by completing documentation in compliance with regulations.
- Transport clients as needed using agency vehicles.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a related field; Master's degree preferred.Valid Ohio Clinical License in Social Work or Counseling (LPC, LSW, or LMFT) is required.Strong knowledge of mental health assessment, treatment planning, child psychotherapy, group therapy, and DSM-IV diagnoses.Experience delivering mental health services to children with complex needs is essential.Benefits and Salary
Salary Range : $55,000-$57,000 (Dependent) and $58,000-$60,000 (Independent).
