Litigation Counsel, State Licensed

A company is looking for a Counsel, Litigation.

Key Responsibilities

Support and manage an active docket of disputes and litigation matters, including developing and executing case strategy

Represent the company in smaller litigation matters and manage outside counsel for more complex litigation

Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on litigation-related matters and maintain communication with insurance carriers

Required Qualifications

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and active license to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction

5+ years of litigation experience at a top law firm, government agency, or in-house legal department

Experience managing and resolving litigation matters

Resourceful self-starter with a team-oriented mindset and strong collaboration skills

Strong negotiation skills and excellent judgment
