Nightwing brings disruptive technologies, agility, and competitive offerings to customers in the intelligence community, defense, civil, and commercial markets.Nightwing is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of an internally developed, mission-critical application. This application serves as an integral part of Nightwing's operations, enabling process automation, resource management, and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise in modern web and cloud technologies, a strong DevOps mindset, and collaborative problem-solving skills to improve functionality, scalability, and performance in alignment with Nightwing's organizational goals. Responsibilities Include :

• Build, maintain, and enhance Nightwing's internal web application using Ruby on Rails , JavaScript , SQL , HTML / CSS , and other web technologies. Design and implement automation tools and workflows using GitLab CI / CD , and container technologies like Docker . Administer and optimize GitLab (self-hosted) instances, including SSO / SAML integration, backup / restore, and secure configurations. Develop scalable cloud solutions on AWS , leveraging services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Route53, ECS / ECR, and more to support application stability and performance. Ensure efficient database design and queries across PostgreSQL , MySQL , and other supported platforms. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, refine business processes, and align technical solutions with Nightwing's operational needs. Lead testing processes, perform full regression testing, and design automation test cases using tools such as Selenium . Monitor system performance and proactively resolve infrastructure or application-related issues through detailed analysis. Triage, debug, and resolve end-user reported issues, providing Tier 2 technical support for Nightwing's internal application. Document workflows, processes, and platform changes for traceability and knowledge sharing within the team. Required Skills : Must be a US Citizen 10+ years of applicable experience and a Bachelor's degree Excellent communication skills, including working with stakeholders to identify requirements and deliver solutions. Desired Skills : Proven Experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role. Familiarity with Agile workflows and tools such as Jira for tracking development cycles and user stories. Experience with diagnostic tools and monitoring frameworks for system performance analysis (e.g., CloudWatch logs). Demonstrated ability to develop scalable web applications, write clean code, and adhere to industry standards and best practices.
• Working knowledge of container orchestration tools or frameworks, and infrastructure-as-code principles.
