Position Summary : We are looking for a Sr. Manager, Market Intelligence who will lead the development and execution of strategic market, competitive, and customer insights to support enterprise-wide decision making. This role is responsible for synthesizing economic, industry, and consumer data to identify growth opportunities, guide marketing and business strategies, and support brand positioning. The ideal candidate brings a strong mix of analytical expertise, business acumen, and cross-functional collaboration to drive insights that shape the company’s strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead in-depth analysis of macroeconomic, industry, and market trends to inform long-term business planning and scenario forecasting.

Oversee the development and continuous monitoring of competitive landscapes, market benchmarks, and disruptive trends. Deliver executive-level briefings and intelligence reports.

Design and manage comprehensive, data-driven research initiatives to support corporate, brand, and product strategy. Integrate qualitative and quantitative methodologies to uncover unmet needs and growth areas.

Analyze customer segmentation, buying behaviors, and trends using internal and external data sources. Translate insights into strategic recommendations for marketing, sales, and product development.

Partner with CRM, marketing, and sales planning teams to analyze customer data, identify opportunities to enhance the customer journey, and drive retention, loyalty, and lifetime value.

Proactively identify white space opportunities and unmet market needs; evaluate and quantify potential opportunities to support business case development for new markets, products, or channels.

Build strong relationships with marketing, sales, fp&a, product, finance, and executive teams.

Present findings, insights, and strategic recommendations with clarity, influence, and business relevance.

May lead a team of analysts or cross-functional project teams; mentor junior staff and promote a culture of analytical excellence and insights-driven thinking.

Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field (Master’s / MBA strongly preferred)

10+ years of progressive experience in market intelligence, business strategy, consumer insights, or competitive analysis

Experience in food & beverage, CPG, manufacturing, or other relevant sectors

Proven ability to lead strategic research projects and translate complex data into actionable insights

Expertise in breadth of consumer and market research tools and new methods, including advances in insights, AI / ML applications, behavioral science.

Expertise in market intelligence tools and data visualization platforms (e.g., IRI, Power BI, Tableau, Nielsen, etc.)

Proficiency in CRM platforms and customer data analysis

Exceptional storytelling, communication, and presentation skills with experience delivering insights to executive audiences

Strong business acumen and cross-functional collaboration capabilities

Demonstrated experience in team leadership or mentorship

Knowledge of customer experience, strategy development, and consumer / market / shopper / brand / innovation frameworks and tools

Familiarity with advanced analytics techniques (e.g., predictive modeling, clustering, regression analysis), hands-on proficiency is a plus.

The base salary for this position is between $110,000.00 and $140,000.00 per year. Actual compensation will depend on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience, and location. This position may also be eligible for additional compensation and benefits, including an annual incentive bonus, medical / dental / vision insurance, life insurance, PTO / FTO, and a 401(k) plan with company match.
