Program Security Officer

Perform a wide range of functions to ensure the protection of government-sensitive and classified information. Apply advanced skills and extensive technical expertise. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Ensure the organization is compliant with DoD security requirements. Manage administrative activities for security clearances for the organization's employees, ensure the security of restricted access facilities and sensitive records, and advise management on pertinent issues. Analyze the development and implementation of key programs or processes for the organization. Work without considerable direction, and mentor and supervise team members, as needed.

Basic Qualifications :

• 5+ years of experience in the DoD or intelligence community
• Experience working with Special Access Program (SAP) information and dealing with SIC or JADE account look ups and creations, submitting SAP nominations for program access, and SAP security education implementation and annual reporting
• Experience working in a fast-paced team environment
• Experience directing the activities of security specialists
• Experience working Security Classification Guides and classification reviews
• Experience with physical security, such as Co-Use Agreements and Compartmented Area Checklists
• Knowledge of the CAP environment
• Active TS / SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
• Bachelor's degree and 11+ years of experience in distinct functional or cross-functional security areas, including personnel, physical, industrial security, computer investigations, classification management, operational security, or security education, or 19+ years of experience in distinct functional or cross-functional security areas, including personnel, physical, industrial security, computer investigations, classification management, operational security, or security education in lieu of a degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
