Experience :

Traveler must have completed two years of acute care experience within the last three years.

Circulating experience is required.

Epic experience is required.

License :

Traveler must have a nursing license from their permanent address state.

Certifications :

BLS certified through American Heart Association is required.

Must-Have :

Traveler must have experience in neurology procedures such as aneurysm clipping, cervical and lumbar fusion, laminectomy, craniotomy for tumor, and VP shunt placement.

Experience with specific equipment including sonopet, bone scalpel, and bipolar instruments is required.

Knowledge of various microscopes is preferred.

Description :

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team.

The role involves collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to plan patient care in the Operating Room.

The nurse will coordinate Operating Room activities to facilitate efficiency in surgical case progression and turnover between cases.

This is a day shift position working 12-hour shifts from 0640 to 1910, Monday through Friday.

There will be weekend and weekday call responsibilities, as well as possible holiday call responsibilities.

This position requires the ability to float to different units as needed based on staffing requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
