Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 03 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift : 11 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Job ID 34404367 Requirements License : Compact or VA license in hand at submission — no exceptions Experience : Minimum 2 years of recent MedSurg Tele with Neuro / Stroke Travel experience required Certs : BLS & ACLS (AHA only) NIHSS EPIC proficient – must have used it recently Patient ratio : 1 : 7 (pre-close with candidate) Must have worked with Neurology / Stroke patients in acute care No license or background hits allowed (strict policy) Must pass basic EKG test (80% on first attempt – no remediation) Skills Checklist (Key Highlights) : IV starts, telemetry interpretation, telemetry monitoring Neurology / stroke patient care Use of rapid response / code teams Dysrhythmia management Pre / post neurosurgery, trach care, TBI, wound care, etc. ⛔ Disqualifiers Lives within 50 miles of facility Any license or background hit No EPIC experience Failed fit testing / requires PAPR About Nationwide Therapy Group NTG is a proud partner with healthcare professionals across the country.
