Ruby on Rails Developer

Position : Ruby on Rails Developer

Location : Austin, TX / Sunnyvale, TX. The ideal candidate should possess strong front-end development skills in addition to their back-end expertise. They should also be able to work semi-independently, taking on the primary developer role for this project.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
  • Integrate data storage solutions like PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure continuous improvement.

Requirements :

  • Proven experience as a Ruby on Rails Developer.
  • Strong proficiency in Ruby, Rails framework, and related technologies.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and frameworks like React or Angular is a plus.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Git, and Agile development methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
