About the Role

Magrathea is seeking a creative problem-solving Senior Research Engineer to mentor junior team members and design / execute experiments to drive Magrathea's technology development program. The Senior Research Engineer will be a key player in the scale-up and design of our core molten salt process technology.

• Lead design and execution of experiments on key pieces of novel Magrathea technology.
• Troubleshoot systems and determine solutions for tough processing problems.
• Analyze experimental data to establish conclusions and recommendations.
• Perform engineering design calculations for heat flux, heat flow, vaporization rates, and other physical parameters.
• Design, prototype, and procure / fabricate experimental rigs up to 1 m

in size.
