Job Title : Landscape Laborer Urgently Hiring!

Pay :   $17.75 / hour

Hours :   Monday - Friday,  7 : 00AM - 4 : 30PM

We are seeking a Landscape Laborers  for  a  3-4 month   Temporary  position with our client, a Landscaping Contractor who is providing landscape updates for local Cemeteries, located in Happy Valley , Oregon .

The Landscape Laborer  will play an essential role in helping load and unload materials, pressure washing and help with general clean up of the grounds.

As a Landscape Laborer you will be responsible for :

Perform regular lawn care including mowing, edging, trimming, and leaf blowing

Prepare and back fill grave sites as needed, with care and precision

Plant, water, and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees on cemetery grounds

Clean and maintain headstones, monuments, and memorial areas with respect

Remove trash, leaves, and debris from walkways, roads, and burial plots

Operate landscaping tools and machinery safely (mowers, trimmers, etc.)

Conduct seasonal work including snow removal and holiday decoration setup

Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)

The ideal candidate for this role will have :

Previous landscaping or grounds keeping experience preferred (not required)

EXPERIENCE WITH LAYING SOD (for a company) is needed for 1 of the 2 openings

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand / walk for extended periods, and work outdoors in all weather conditions

Comfortable working in a cemetery setting with discretion and professionalism
