Position Overview :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Maintenance Clerk to support our sawmill's maintenance department. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate records, coordinating parts and supplies, tracking work orders, and assisting the maintenance team in ensuring smooth mill operations. The ideal candidate will be skilled in clerical and administrative tasks while understanding the urgency and pace of an industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and reports.
• Process and track work orders, preventive maintenance schedules, and service requests.
• Monitor inventory levels of parts, tools, and supplies; initiate reorders when needed.
• Assist in coordinating vendor orders, deliveries, and service contracts.
• Support maintenance supervisors and millwrights with documentation, parts tracking, and gathering parts for each job (kitting).
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports.
• Provide clerical support such as filing, data entry, and document control.
