Overview :

Process Alliance is seeking a Staff Consultant to support ongoing client projects across Facilities, Utilities, and Reliability Engineering within the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries. This is a great opportunity for engineers with experience maintaining and optimizing GMP utilities, facility systems, and equipment reliability programs.

On-site / / Seattle, WA

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the operation, maintenance, and reliability of facility and utility systems such as HVAC, clean utilities, and process equipment.
  • Lead or assist with capital and reliability improvement projects to enhance equipment uptime and efficiency.
  • Develop and execute preventive maintenance and reliability strategies.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Maintenance, EHS, Quality) to ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory standards.
  • Knowledge of automation systems.
  • Manage small projects or workstreams related to utilities, reliability, or facilities upgrades.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, change controls, and deviation records as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related Engineering field.
  • 2+ years of experience in facilities, utilities, maintenance, or reliability engineering (GMP / life sciences preferred).
  • Hands-on familiarity with HVAC, compressed air, water systems, or other plant utilities.
  • Understanding of preventive maintenance programs, reliability tools, and CMMS systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
