We’re looking for a VP of Marketing to join our tight-knit, entrepreneurial team.
About the Role
GrowthAssistant is entering its next growth phase and needs a hands-on VP of Marketing who can scale our B2B growth engine. This role combines strategic leadership and execution. You’ll set the vision, roll up your sleeves to deliver campaigns, and build and lead a growing marketing team. The mandate : build a predictable demand pipeline, elevate our brand, and drive measurable revenue impact.
Core Responsibilities
Content Marketing & Demand Generation (~70%)
- Develop and manage thought-leadership content (webinars, case studies, nurture tracks, whitepapers) and events (dinners, conferences) that accelerate buyer journeys.
- Design and execute a full-funnel B2B demand generation strategy across paid, organic, account-based marketing, webinars, and partner channels.
- Own campaign planning, budgeting, and attribution, with deep focus on CAC and ROI.
- Partner closely with sales leadership to ensure smooth handoff of leads, alignment on SLAs, and shared pipeline goals.
Team Leadership & Development (~20%)
Manage, coach, and grow a high-performing marketing team across content, demand gen, and digital channels.Provide clear direction and mentoring while also getting hands-on with key initiatives.Foster a culture of experimentation, accountability, and continuous learning within the team.Strategic & Cross-Functional (~10%)
Collaborate with Product, Operations, and Finance on pricing, packaging, and go-to-market launches.Build transparent dashboards and reporting for leadership, translating performance data into actionable insights.Act as a brand ambassador at webinars, events, and industry forums.Stay ahead of market trends, AI-driven tools, and new marketing technologies to maintain a competitive edge.Requirements
Must-Have
10+ years of progressive experience in marketing, with at least 5 years focused on B2B demand generation and a proven track record of delivering pipeline and ARR growth.Experience managing and developing small marketing teams while remaining hands-on with execution.Expertise across demand-gen channels (paid, organic, ABM, content, events).Proficiency with HubSpot (or similar CRM / automation tools), paid media platforms, and attribution modeling.Strong data orientation : able to translate analytics into strategy and tactical pivots.Exceptional communication skills; confident presenting to internal leadership and external audiences.Nice-to-Have
Background in staffing, outsourcing, or professional services.Experience scaling a company fromFamiliarity with AI / automation tools for marketing efficiency.Exposure to international go-to-market strategies.Prior experience in fast-moving start-ups or scale-ups.Reporting & Team Structure
