Overview
We are looking for a Mechanical Design Manager to work in Costa Mesa, CA, to enhance our Propulsion Development team. This role is critical in developing and optimizing advanced defense systems to meet our ambitious goals.
What You'll Do
- Own the mechanical design process of engine components
- Drive excellence in the mechanical design of engines. Evangelize and demonstrate the standard for a propulsion designer.
- Support the production of propulsion products. Partner with manufacturing to improve the yield, quality and cost of the delivered product.
- Proactively communicate to customers and cross functional leads. Inform cross functional stakeholders of upcoming changes to design.
- Grow Anduril’s propulsion design capability. Identify growth opportunities for team members. Empower engineers to continually improve their product.
- Facilitate cross functional teamwork. Work with the performance team to develop class leading turbomachinery. Work with the test team to identify issues and drive them to closure.
